Starting your own business? It’s a big step, and you want to make sure you are doing the right things. You don’t want to mess up right from the start do you? Of course not, lucky there are people who already went before you and can give you tips on which step you have to take first.
If you want to read more tips and useful content to grow your business, please check out my blog where I try to create the most useful content to help you make more money.
But let’s get to the first step you have to take:
Before you start with things like registering a name, find out how to do taxes, employees, setup a website or any of the above. You have to do a lot of market research.
Einstein once said: “If I had an hour to solve a problem I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and five minutes thinking about solutions.”
Which means, you have to do a lot of research and answer a ton of questions before you even can start.
Example questions to ask are:
Does your audience want and need what your business is planning to offer?
Is there a demand for your product or service?
How does your competition do marketing, are they successful?
How big is the market? How many people would be interested in my business?
Do I sell to consumers or will it be B2B?
How Many competitors are there?
How many competitors are in the location I want to operate?
Is there a similar option already available and how am I going to compete with them?
What are potential customers willing to pay for it?
